We are willing to spend so much money on higher education, but books, are relatively inexpensive. On the internet, many classics are available to be read free of charge. If you can't afford to take classes at a university, let the great minds of history be your teachers. Between what's available on the internet and what you will find in your local library, you can get a very well-rounded education for free.
ReplyDeleteI remember working at a library, when a woman who had been researching a topic that she had found interesting stopped off at the circulation desk to proclaim, "Libraries are great. You can learn anything you want."
